New Clients: January 2011

Carrying over from a busy finish to 2010, LeeReedy/Xylem Digital has just added some great new Clients With Fire. For Italianni’s, the largest chain of Italian restaurants in Mexico, we’re developing an experiential site to better match the unique feel of their restaurants. We’re adding a technological punch to the new site for top Colorado production company, Impossible. Wildland Adventures has asked us to capture the experience of their adventure travel vacations, unlike any in the world, through their new website. And for product lifecycle management software company, Integware, we’ve just finished taking them through our Two Weeks to Truth positioning workshop – and we’re moving on to testing for validation, brand identity, web, advertising, tradeshow and sales materials. We’re pumped for 2011.

Kickstand Magazine’s New Positioning and Media Kit

We recently took our friends at Kickstand Magazine – creators of the Denver Cruisers – through our Two Weeks to Truth positioning workshop, in anticipation of retooling their media kit to bring in more advertisers and sponsors for their publication and events. We’re happy with the result and think the new brand positioning and design perfectly match the spirit of the magazine and its creators.

“Kickstand Magazine is about way more than cruiser bikes. It’s a metaphor for life – an optimistic, inclusive, fun-loving, ageless approach to life. Kickstand Magazine, and in fact the cruiser bike itself, is the embodiment and celebration of a feeling – one born in childhood at the receipt of that first banana seat and set of butterfly handlebars. We seek to instil (sometimes rekindle) this wonderful feeling in bike lovers of all generations through our printed publication, online presence and live cruiser events. This is Kickstand Magazine. The owner’s manual for a freewheeling life.”

Great News for Our Client, Adult Chocolate Milk

Adult Beverage Company is a great example of what we mean when we talk about Clients With Fire. They came to us with limited resources and a great idea. We took them through Two Weeks to Truth – the unique process we use to inform and kick-start positioning, innovation, product design and communications strategy/execution. From there, we developed the look and voice for the brand and carried it through their packaging, advertising and website.

With that kindling, the blaze began. Adult Chocolate Milk, their first product, has been featured on Time.com, CNBC’s Power Lunch, WGN in Chicago and literally hundreds of blogs across the world.

Xylem Digital Launches Fresh Express Kits Game Campaign

Fresh Express was looking for a unique way to engage consumers with their Kits product line – online. We developed The Salad Spinner, applying game mechanics to product promotion and creating a way to continuously get consumers interacting with the brand. The audience was given the opportunity to win prizes each week and earn extra entries by telling their friends about the campaign on Facebook and Twitter. Over half of the audience is returning regularly to spin to win and the email campaign around the promotion is keeping the game top-of-mind – while driving significant brand interaction.
